Rental Policy

  • Lock Up Props Inc. makes no representations of warranties as to whether the record item(s) (rental items) can be filmed, photographed, videotaped or otherwise utilized without a third-party consent. It shall be the sole responsibility of the renter to obtain and/or pay for any required permissions, clearances or consents.
  • Rental charges shall be applied from the time the item(s) is removed to the time it is returned. 
  • If any rented item(s) is lost, stolen or damaged in any way the renter shall be responsible for paying the replacement cost of such item(s). The replacement price shall be solely determined by Lock Up Props Inc. or replaced with a new item acceptable to Lock Up Props Inc. 
  • Invoice(s) not paid after a period of one month from issue shall be subject to 5% interest per month after such date.
  • Item(s) rented, purchased and/or received from Lock Up Props Inc. shall be known as set dressing props, as such Lock Up Props Inc. makes no representations or warranties as to whether such item(s) can be used as anything other than props.
  • It shall be the sole responsibility of the renter to insure that all electrical item(s) rented, purchased and/or received from Lock Up Props Inc. are deemed acceptable by applicable safety codes before using as anything other than set dressing pieces. 
  • In the event an item is purchased to replace any lost, stolen and/or damaged items, the cost of the rental is not subtracted from the purchase price.
  • If a renter chooses to pay for the replacement cost of item(s), the cost includes the value of the item(s), plus the cost of the time and manpower to replace such item(s), plus applicable taxes.
  • Drivers must arrive at their scheduled appointments with the appropriate vehicle to  transport items, as well as the appropriate materials to secure their truck: Sash, blankets, straps. Transportation that arrives with ill-equipped vehicles may be turned away.  
  • Agreement to these terms is inferred by filling out the Production Set Up Form.
